Art producer, theatre director, curator.
Born in Katowice in Poland where she studied film studies, new media and sociology. In the Czech Republic, she received a degree in drama direction at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts. She collaborates especially with independent groups and theatres. In her work, she deals with social and political themes, realizes drama theatre, authorial and site specific projects, she is interested in art in public space. In 2007 she debuted with a play Don Juan x2 in Poland where she also debuted in the film production as the second director of the feature film Mother in 2012. Sometimes she works as a translator as well. In 2013 she co-founded the independent Theatre X10 where she used to be an artistic director and directed significant performances, she also worked as a curator of the Kutna Hora Performing Arts Festival and as a manager for the international projects.
Her site specific performance Autoatlas Ukrajiny produced by Meetfactory won a prize of the ...příští vlna / next wave... festival for the Production of the Year in 2014, performance Haarmann was among the nominees for the Josef Balvín Award for the 2016/2017 season. With Theatre X10 in 2017 she won a prize of the ...příští vlna / next wave... festival for the Producer's achievement of the year and Czech DNA prize by New network in 2020.
In 2021 she launched an independent production platform called Rekultur.
